How to Change a Metric's Measurement Frequency

Precision tracks every metric on a schedule — daily, weekly, or monthly. If your team enters data weekly but the metric is set to daily, you'll see gaps. Here's how to change it.

How to Get to the Metric Edit Sheet

  1. Go to Settings → Metrics Library.

  2. Find the metric you want to update. Hover over its row — a three-dot menu (⋮) will appear on the right.

  3. Click the three-dot menu and select Edit metric.

Pick the frequency that matches how your team actually enters data. If you track revenue every month, set it to monthly. If you track calls every day, set it to daily. The frequency you choose affects how Precision aggregates your data toward goals.

Note: Changing the frequency on a metric with existing data does not delete that data — it only affects how new entries are collected going forward.
